The delegation of University of Electronic Science and Technology of China (UESTC) led by Xu Hongbing, Vice President of UESTC, visited CNIS for in-depth exchange on October 24.
Luo Fangping, President of CNIS, and relevant representatives attended the meeting hosted by Jiang Jiadong, Vice President of CNIS, where the two parties discussed scientific and technological cooperation on standardization in the field of electronic information.
Standards lead the future and boost innovation, said Xu Hongbing. He introduced the status of the university's scientific research, and pointed out the significance for the two parties to reinforce academic exchange in the standardization field and cooperate on talent cultivation, making more contributions to the development of standardization clause.
According to Luo Fangping, UESTC is the source of emerging technologies in the electronic information field, as well as the cradle of innovative talents. To jointly promote China's standardization development strategy in this field, CNIS will enhance the strategic cooperation with UESTC to build the high-level standardization research platforms, such as global standards database, national quality & standards lab, etc.
