SAC/SWG 23, Specialized agricultural service, was set up on January 25 in Beijing, and the National Standard Examination Conference was held simultaneously. The meeting was attended by more than 30 experts, officials, working group members and standardizers online or on-site.
The standardization work on agricultural socialization service still has a long and winding way to go. The establishment of SAC/SWG 23 is at a right time to set the direction of future work and thoroughly implement relevant national policies. Meanwhile, the working group should formulate regulations, provide excellent services and cultivate relevant talents, said Xu Changxing, Deputy Director-General of the Standards Technical Management Department of the State Administration for Market Regulation (SAMR).
CNIS has its edge on standardization research, especially in the field of standardization for agricultural socialization service. Therefore, as the secretariat of SAC/SWG 23, CNIS promised to fully support the working group with responsible work and considerate service, according to Li Zhiping, Vice-President of CNIS.
Yun Zhenyu, Secretary-General of SAC/SWG 23, announced the regulation and further work plans of the working group, which were voted and approved by all its members.
To boost the development of modernized agriculture, the working group will follow the guidance of the Outline for National Standardization Development and steadily promote the release and implementation of related standards.
