China Standardization and Technology Consortium for Energy Conservation and Emission Reduction is Co-initiated by 11 institutions including the CNIS, China National Energy Conservation Center, the Training Center of the National Development and Reform Commission, the China Energy Conservation Association, and the China Certification and Accreditation Association, China Standardization and Technology Consortium for Energy Conservation and Emission Reduction consists of research institutions, universities and colleges and, sector associations, testing and certification bodies, enterprises and non-governmental organizations. Its aim to promote energy-conservation and emission-reduction cooperation and communication, and it is a non-profit technical and academic public service organization committed to promoting the standardization of energy conservation and emission reduction.
With the guidance and support of relevant government departments and the joint efforts of its members, it will seek to establish a coordination mechanism in cooperating the government, industry, universities and research to advance the standardization of energy conservation and the emission reduction; develop the "leading consortia standards"; set up a "energy-conservation and emission-reduction standardization technological innovation system" that is well adapted to the market demand. |
