CNIS signed a new program "National Auto-Drive Scenario Testing and Safety Simulation Center" with China Automotive Engineering Research Institute (CAERI) and Chongqing Hechuan District People's Government on October 21, on the occasion of the 3rd China Automobile Safety and Recall Technology Forum.
The program is aimed at establishing world-class auto-drive safety simulation platform and constructing a fully functional safety assessment base for intelligent automobiles, based on typical Chinese scenario and simulation toolchain. Development of the center will support the research on common technologies of safety and recall of intelligent automobiles, testing tool R&D and laboratory construction, and coordinated innovation and achievement transformation of key technologies.
