To promote the green development in the Belt and Road countries, the first Green Productivity Forum and the Launching Ceremony of the Ecology and Environment TV (EETV) was held in Beijing on January 12, 2020. The event was hosted by China Association of Productivity Promotion Centers (CAPPC), RDI (the Project of Research and Development International)'s think tank and EETV of Beijing All Media and Culture Group.
At the event, National Library of Standards (NLS) of CNIS was awarded the Belt and Road Initiative Green Productivity Forerunner, as NLS organized a special research project on taking Chinese standards to the global stage in ASEAN, Central Asia and other countries and regions, aimed at producing a verifiable, replicable and sustainable model for supporting Chinese standards going global to promote green development in the Belt and Road countries.
NLS will continue to advance the progress of the project to help promote economic growth and social development by leveraging standardization research achievements, and exert more practical effects of high-quality standards leading high-quality development.
