CNIS President Liu Hongsheng met with the delegation of the American National Standards Institute (ANSI) led by its Vice-President Joseph Tretler on December 17, 2019, briefing on the latest progress of institutional reform in SAMR and CNIS.
Mr. Tretler spoke highly of ANSI-CNIS relations and proposed the two sides should enhance cooperation to provide technical support for the government and industry via standards and contribute to the healthy development of trade and economy.
The two sides discussed in details the 2020 work plan and proposed four prior cooperation areas including energy resources management, green product evaluation, statistic method & application and enterprise credit. They also reached the consensus on organizing high-profile visits, training, workshops and other activities.
