The forum on APEC program of standards facilitating employment in silver economy took place on September 19-20, 2019 in Beijing, to discuss the important role of standardization in improving employment in silver economy under the background of global aging.

The event hosted by CNIS attracted representatives from APEC members, experts from ISO technical committee for ageing societies (ISO/TC 314), and over 70 participants from SAMR, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, and domestic research institutes, universities and industry.
