A three-person delegation of American National Standards Institute (ANSI) visited CNIS on August 15, which was Led by Leslie McDermott, Senior Director of International Development at ANSI. The delegation was welcomed by Li Zhiping, Vice President of CNIS and relevant staff from the International Cooperation Department and the Branch of Resource and Environment of CNIS.
After introducing the current situation of CNIS and ANSI, the two parties discussed technical issues such as evaluation system for green products, eco-friendly design and recycle of express packaging materials, and integrated district energy system. They further explored the implementation of China's National Standardization Development Outline, policies on management of mirror committees for ISO technical bodies, etc.
