The plenary meeting of ISO/TC 309, Governance of organizations, was held on November 24. On the meeting, Wang Yiyi, Director of the Standardization Theoretical Strategy Sub-institute of CNIS, was honored the ISO Excellence Award for her devotion.

CNIS has actively participated in developing international standards for compliance management systems since 2012. Wang was elected as a co-convenor of ISO/TC 309/WG 4 on compliance management systems on 2018.

She is praised for her excellent work of organizing the development of ISO 37301:2021 Compliance management systems - Requirements with guidance for use, with some 130 experts from the working group. Published on April 13, ISO 37301:2021 serves as a guideline for organizations worldwide to establish and maintain compliance management systems.

The ISO Excellence Award was set up in 2015 to recognize the achievements of ISO's expert, project leader or convenor, who made major contribution to the development and revision of ISO international standards.
