CNIS holds a parallel session of CQC

Themed with "Quality Evolution, Digital Empowerment, Green Development, Global Synergy", the 4th China Quality Conference was held from September 16 to 17 in Hangzhou, Zhejiang province. CNIS President Liu Hongsheng and CNIS Vice-President Qiu Yueming attended the great event.

The biennial international conference consists of six parallel sessions, including experiences sharing on quality management, quality evolution and digital empowerment, standardization on carbon peak & carbon neutrality and sustainable development, improvement of product quality and high-quality development of manufacturing industry, improvement of service quality and development of modern service sector, as well as regional integration and high-quality development.

Zhejiang Energy Group, China Hua'neng Group and CNIS jointly hosted the session themed on standardization on carbon peak & carbon neutrality and sustainable development. Approximately 230 representatives from governments, industries, enterprises and international organizations attended the session.

Shu Yinbiao, President of the International Electrotechnical Commission (IEC), showed up at the session and shared his views on carbon peak & carbon neutrality and related development strategies, along with domestic and international experts and scholars. Also, Lin Ling, Director of the Branch of Resource and Environment of CNIS, gave a speech on how standardization assists in realizing the goals of carbon peak and carbon neutrality.
