CNIS supports China Brand Day

The 2020 China Brand Evaluation Press Conference was held on May 10 to celebrate the fourth China Brand Day, which was technically supported by the Branch of Quality Research of CNIS. Liu Zhengrong, Vice President of Xinhua News Agency, and Liu Pingjun, China Council for Brand Development addressed the event.

Some 830 brands have applied for evaluation this year, and the Branch of Quality Research is responsible for the value estimation of 447 brands. This conference disclosed a total of 564 brands worth over 7 trillion, and the average brand value increased by 5.1% from a year ago.

The Branch of Quality Research has begun to develop brand evaluation technology and conduct relevant standards research since 2011, and has supported Chinese brand evaluation since 2012. In the past nine years, the institution has taken the lead in the development and publication of 22 national standards and one international standards concerning brand evaluation. Based on the requirements of international and national standards, it has provided brand valuation services for enterprises and products for more than 4,000 times. In the future, it will contribute more to China's brand building, improvement of the quality and impact of Chinese products and services, establishment of more famous brands, and promotion of high-quality development.
