CNIS Starts Cooperation with 3M China |

The delegation of 3M China Co. Ltd. (3M China for short) led by Yu Jiang, Senior Manager for Government and Public Affairs, visited CNIS on December 23, 2015. The two sides held a seminar to make exchanges on standardization work, which was presided over by Yu Limei, Deputy Director-General of Planning Research & International Cooperation Department of CNIS. At the meeting, Yu briefed the general situation of CNIS in recent years and Shen Ning, General Manager of North Region of 3M China, together with Wu Peizhi who serves as the General Manager of regional technical center of 3M China, introduced the company profile and its innovation culture, technical platforms, etc. Also, the important technical achievements and standardization work made by 3M China in the fields of filtering technology, light path management, shock-absorbing and noise reduction, food safety management and advanced materials were presented at the meeting. This was the first time for CNIS to make such in-depth exchanges with 3M China on standardization. The two sides reached extensive consensus in the hope of that both would further identify cooperation content and set up collaborating mechanism.
