The Standardization Research Tasks Included in NQI Special Project Undertaken by CNIS was Kicked off

        Eight standardization research tasks included in National Quality Infrastructure (NQI) Special Project undertaken by CNIS was kicked officially off in Beijing on 28 September, NQI is one of the first batch of projects to initiate by State Key Research Project. The kick-off meeting was atteded by relavant officials from MOST, AQSIQ, SAC and CNIS, and some researchers in charge of these research tasks.
        NQI Special Project was proposed by MOST and AQSIQ together with other 13 departments with the backgroud of the administration reform for the central government science and technology program, according to the way of full links design and uniformed implementation, it focuses on the metrology, standards, conformity assessment and typical demonstration application and sets 11 key tasks and 35 subtasks.
        As the leading undertaken institution, CNIS has undertaken 7 technical standards projects and one typical demonstration project in teh first batch of projects to kick off.
        From now on, all the projects start to put into implementation officially. These 8 projects will address the shortage in basic universal and the public welfare standards, meet the need of stadards to industrial crossover, develop the standards of important underlying common, resources-saving and environmental protection, providing the sopport for the improving livelihood and promoting the industrial transfering and upgrading.
