Date: 2013-12-31

The former National Library of Standards is the Standards Reference Room of the National Bureau of Standards established in 1957.

As China's only library of standards documents at national level, National Library of Standards is entrusted with the task of constructing an authoritative, complete, and efficient national level standard documents repository. The library collections have reached more than 1.1 million standard documents, and the amount of data is over 1.4 million.

Through collaboration with many domestic provinces and industrial standardization institutions, the National Standard Documents Sharing Platform has been built which has provided public services on standard related information to tens of thousands of enterprises, and supplied basis of decision-making for major national projects and government public administration, as well as offered great foundational support for the national economic construction and social development.
