Qiu YuemingResearch Fellow

Vice President of CNIS, also Vice President of China Assciation for Technical Supervision Information, Deputy Director of the CNIS Technology Committee and Vice Chairman of Organization for an International Geographical Indications Network, responsible for the Research Center for the United Nations Trade Facilitation and Standardization, Ergonomics Laboratory Management Department and Infrastructure Office.

Starting his career in September of 1987, Qiu Yueming now is a Research Fellow with Doctor's Degree, Tutor for Doctorate Candidates and a member of the CPC. He is enrolled as national young an middle aged science, technology and management expert with outstanding contributions, entitled for governmental allowance, chairman or member of national standardization technical committee for food safety and management and other various technical committees, member of the National Residue Monitoring Committee, member of the 3rd and 4th compilation panel for China Veterinary Pharmacopoeia, board member of China Association for Instrumental Analysis and Vice Board Charman of the Beijing Association for Instrumental Analysis.

He led, instructed and participated in over 40 accomplished technological projects, led and participated in the development of 2 national standards, 7 industrial standards and 10 national standard materials. He co-authored the monograph Veterinary Residue Analysis, with 5 books independently and jointly compiled as well as 70 papers published on domestic and international core journals. He has been awarded for 1 first-grade Prize for Scientific Development of Inspection and Quarantine by AQSIQ, 3 second-grade provincial-level prizes for technological progress and 7 third-grade prize for scientific and technological progress and development of inspection and quarantines. He was titled Excellent Worker for Scientific and Technological Development by AQSIQ in 2005.
