Vice President of CNIS, also Director of of the CNIS Confidentiality Committee, Head of the CNIS Informization Leading Workgroup and Deputy Director of the CNIS Technology Committee, assigned to take charge of the General Office, Branch of Quality Management, Data Management Office, General Service Center and Preparatory Office For the National Library of Standards.
Starting his career in July of 1984, Tang Wanjin now is a Research Fellow with Doctor's Degree and a member of the CPC. He is a post doctor with the China Academy of Sciences. Entitled for governmental allowance, he serves as Secretary-General, Vice Chairman or Committee Member of National Standardization Technical Committee for Safety of Consumer Goods, Board Director of China Association for Quality and member of China National Customer Committee.
In recent years, he has led to complete 2 projects under the Natural Science Foundation of China, led or participated over 10 projects for the national 9th, 10th and 11th five-year plans, led or participated in the development of multiple national standards. He has published over 80 papers on domestic and international core journals and 6 publications. He has been awarded for 4 first-grade provincial prizes for scientific and technological researches, 2 second-grade prizes and 1 third-grade prize. He has also been titled for Advanced Individual for Scientific and Technological Development by AQSIQ.
