October 14 is the World Standards Day, China Theme Activity for 2017 World Standards Day celebration held in Beijing on October 15. AQSIQ Minster Zhi Shuping, SAC Administrator Tian Shihong, Vice-Administrator of the State Administration of Work Safety Li Zhaoqian, Vice-Administrator of State Forestry Administration of China Peng Youdong attended and addressed the event, SAC Vice-Administrator Yu Xinli hosted the meeting.

During the event, AQSIQ and SAC jointly released 425 important GB standards, aiming at to push the relevant industries to improve the products/projects/services quality and efficiency, push the Chinese economy into the quality era.  

The event were attended by the members of Inter-ministerial Standardization Coordination Promotion Meeting under the State Council, relevant officials of AQSIQ, CNCA, CNIS and staff of SAC.
