| CNIS hosts 2022's first intl standardization training activity |

This year's first lecture on international standardization was held by CNIS online on March 31, which is aimed at encouraging more experts to engage in international standardization activities and to improve the ability to participate in such global events.
Dr. Betty Xu, Director of the Seconded European Standardization Expert in China (SESEC) at CEN, CENELEC, ETSI, EC and EFTA funded project in China, was invited to give a lecture on the EU Strategy on Standardization. Dr. Xu introduced the newly approved EU Strategy on Standardization Strategy in detail by analyzing the background information, goals of standardization development and specific measures. Through introducing relevant strategies of CEN-CENELEC and ETSI, she introduced the characteristics of standardization laws and standardization system of the EU as well.
More than 60 researchers of CNIS and representatives of China Standard Science and Technology Group Co., Ltd. participated in the activity, which proved to be effective and successful.
