Tian Shihong, Vice-Minister of SAMR and Administer of SAC, and Wu Wei, Vice-Governor of Shanxi Provincial People's Government, visited the Transformation and Development Research Center of CNIS in Taiyuan, Shanxi province on September 28.
As a typical resource-based region, Shanxi province has become a national standardization comprehensive reform pilot of China, seeking the possibility of a high-efficiency, eco-friendly and sustainable development strategy.
The research center is established hanks to the joint efforts of SAMR, SAC and Shanxi provincial government. It is aimed at offering decision-making suggestions and boosting the high-quality transformation development of Shanxi, according to Liu Hongsheng, President of CNIS.
Focusing on Shanxi's transformation development, the research center has come to shine in the field of serving local strategy, government priorities, development of key industries, etc. Tian stressed that the research center should respond to the social and economic demands of Shanxi, integrate international and domestic technologies, stimulate application of research achievement, thereby promoting the overall development of Shanxi.
The research center will serve as a think tank of Shanxi's standardization work and an important engine for Shanxi's high-quality transformation development.
