The delegation led by Maximilian Hoving, Asia-Pacific Regional Coordinator for Technical Regulation & Standardization at Siemens, visited CNIS on March 12. Li Zhiping, Vice President of CNIS, met with Siemens representatives.
During the meeting, CNIS experts introduced the recent organizational restructuring and briefed on the latest progress in terms of strategic policies. The Siemens delegation expressed great concern over Chinas rapid development and forward-looking layout in the field of standardization. The two parties discussed the progress of international standards for product digital passports and industrial artificial intelligence, and conducted technical exchanges on multiple cutting-edge fields of common concern, including greenness and low carbon, intelligent manufacturing, and sustainable smart cities.
Both parties agreed to further deepen practical cooperation in the aforementioned emerging fields, within the framework of the existing cooperation memorandum, and jointly explore standardization collaboration paths suitable for industrial transformation.
