The meeting reviewed and approved its agenda and the minutes of the previous plenary session. A progress report was made by the secretariat on the work of ISO/TC 268. It was determined that ISO/TC 268 will maintain continuity in its existing work to ensure the orderly progress of relevant standards projects pending the formal establishment of the structure of ISO/IEC JTC 4. The subordinate task forces, working groups, and subcommittees also made progress reports at the meeting. Participating experts exchanged views on topics including smart city infrastructure, sustainable mobility and transport, urban disaster risk reduction, and net-zero carbon cities. Chinese experts vigorously contributed to the meeting, offering suggestions on issues such as standards application, as well as the collection of typical cases.
