ISO Secretary-General Sergio Mujica visits CNIS

Sergio Mujica, ISO Secretary-General, visited CNIS and held talks with Wang Kun, President and Party Secretary of CNIS.

Wang Kun extended a warm welcome to Mr. Mujica on his first visit to CNIS and introduced CNISs development history, as well as its progress and achievements in standardization research and international standardization activities. He stated that CNIS will fully leverage its professional advantages in standardization research, support ISO in improving governance effectiveness, actively participate in ISO international standardization activities, and contribute to building an open and collaborative international standards system.

The two parties had in-depth discussions on the intelligent standards development system, ISOs Differentiated Licensing Model (DLM), and other issues. Mr. Mujica highly recognized CNISs active role in ISO governance and technical work, and expressed the expectation that CNIS experts would participate more extensively in relevant ISO activities. He was given a tour of the rare collection at the National Library of Standards.

Officials from the Standards Innovative Management Department of the State Administration for Market Regulation (SAMR), the National Center of Standards Evaluation, the Beijing Institute of Standardization, and relevant divisions of CNIS attended the meeting.
